I first heard of FinoComp while researching an article on fast-growing tech companies based in the Illawarra. Having previously worked in the wealth management industry, I quickly recognised just how much FinoComp had achieved in its short history and its potential.
I was later introduced to Head of HR Leanne Isabella, who was looking for a content writer for the new FinoComp website. I soon began working with her and Business Development Director Tim Williams, along with Mark from UK-based design studio MW Studios, to create a website that truly reflects FinoComp’s pioneering products and culture.
As part of the process, we worked together on a content map for the new site which would speak to both potential customers and new talent. The website also needed to communicate FinoComp’s unique culture, appeal to a global audience, and showcase the possibilities of using microservices technology.
To do this, I spent a good amount of time interviewing the team including founder Ray Tubman. It was the best way to get insights into what made them tick and why FinoComp was able to solve problems that no other business could yet successfully solve.
It became clear that the team is driven by excellence, creativity, and curiosity. They know the market inside out and never rest, always on the lookout for new ways to do things.
The project was put on hold for a short period as the FinoComp business experienced rapid growth and was acquired by Bravura Solutions. Once it was back on track, the project team worked together to get the new 15+ page website approved and live in the new financial year.
The team has been fantastic to work with – approachable, smart, and open to new ideas. It’s been a great experience, and I look forward to seeing their continued success.
